The Arts Market New Orleans is the Arts Council’s free, open-air marketplace of artwork made by New Orleans and Gulf Coast artists. Each monthly market in Palmer Park features between 80 – 130 local artists to add to your collection. The artwork at the Arts Market is affordable and handmade, ranging from paintings, photography, printmaking. ceramics, glasswork, and jewelry to wood, handmade clothing, soap, and other things you’ll only find all together here.
While you’re browsing, take a break and check out live music by Louisiana musicians, and delicious food made by local vendors.
The Arts Market is located in Palmer Park, bordered by S. Carrollton Avenue, S. Claiborne Avenue, Dublin Street, and Sycamore Place, at the end of the St. Charles Streetcar Line. Market hours are between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
