A very special event at the O!: The unveiling of George Rodrigue’s “Aioli Dinner” (1971), which is on loan to the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. The oil-on-canvas painting, the first he did with people, was based on photographs of a gourmet dinner club, the Creole Gourmet Society.
In addition to the unveiling, George Rodrigue will be on hand to sign books, including the new paperback release of “The Art of George Rodrigue,” which includes this painting.
