Dave Greber

Dave Greber is a full-service video installation artist committed to making the very finest of fine art.

Davey was born in Philadelphia in 1982. He studied media production at Middle Bucks Institute for Technology, Temple University, and Universiteit van Amsterdam. In 2005, he moved to New Orleans where he produced documentaries for non-profits and musical acts, regional advertisements, and independent films. In 2009, he re-invented himself as “an artist” and started creating site-specific video installations for museums, galleries, and international media festivals.

His 4-channel video installation, The Fool, The Hierophant, the Devil and the Wheel, was selected for Prospect 1.5 and was called “mindbending” by Art in America Magazine (1/4/11). A 7-channel video piece, Open Arms, was called “ a leap forward by a young artist who has already produced some of the strongest videos to come out of New Orleans in recent years” by Dan Cameron in Art in America (3/18/11). Holy Molé!

He is now a member of the Front, an artist-run collective, where he is both a curator and exhibitor. He is currently pursuing an MFA from Tulane University.
