The Bearded Oysters Dance Troupe
For six years, the Bearded Oysters have been bringing joy and laughter to the city of New Orleans through their participation in the local Carnival Parades. The Bearded Oysters is an all female parading dance troupe with a current membership of 300. Women of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to best create a network of diverse sisterhood while inducing an appetite for Louisiana oysters.
Bearded Oysters combines burlesque, comedy, dance, song, costume, and art to create a magical women’s club with a flair for improv.
