New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park

A story rich with innovation, experimentation, controversy and emotion, the park provides an ideal setting to share the cultural history of the people and places that helped shape the development and progression of jazz in New Orleans.

New Orleans Jazz National Historic Park presents a Ranger Program during the week to learn about the music and musicians of New Orleans jazz, then come back on Saturday to hear the music and stories of jazz through live performance.

All programs are free and open to the public at our Visitor Center at 916 North Peters unless otherwise specified. For more information, call 504-589-4841, Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 – 5:00 p.m., or visit us online at http://www.nps.gov/jazz
