Since opening in 1968, Whisnant Galleries has grown to encompass over 12,000 square feet of showroom space.

Both
novices and long-time collectors will be impressed by the scope and
quality of the gallery’s selection. Ranging from exquisite 17th-century
oil paintings to unique estate jewelry, Whisnant Galleries collection
includes over 800 pieces in our arms and armor gallery (including
Islamic, Indo-Persian and Indonesian examples); fine furniture ranging
from the Gothic period to Art Deco; African, Asian, and Oceanic
objects; and a collection of ethnic jewelry rivaling any in the United
States.
