Octavia Art Gallery was established in New Orleans’s Magazine Street Arts District in 2008. The area is alive with galleries, restaurants, boutiques, and historic architecture. Our Magazine Street space introduces an exciting roster of established, mid career, and emerging artists from around the world. A variety of mediums and subject matter are evident in the selection of works exhibited. Please see our artists page for a complete list of artists represented by the gallery.

Launched in mid-2008 in Uptown New Orleans, Octavia Art Gallery aims to bring regional and international contemporary artists to post Katrina New Orleans.

With the resurgence of Magazine Street as one of New Orleans’s most influential commerce corridors, artists from around the world are eager for representation in a vibrant city with a strong cultural history in Fine Art.

The gallery is owned by Pamela Bryan (Master of Arts, Tulane University) and managed by Emily Siekkinen (Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Florida). Exhibitions in the 2009 – 2010 season include work in a number of media – painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture and photography. Artists featured this season are Alex Beard, Skye Ferrante, James Henderson, Nall, Betsy Stewart, Karina Wisniewska, Joe Zammit-Lucia, and Victoria Montoro Zamorano.
