Oak Street Cafe is a warm and friendly cafe with a flair for the old donut shops of the Southern United States before the “fast food invasion”. Folks tell us that we have some of the best food in all Uptown New Orleans. One long time resident in the neighborhood said “the cornbread tastes like my grandmothers”. She was dining with her grand daughter. Another satisfied diner exclaimed that “everything was perfect”! Our donuts are fresh and tasty and our service makes you feel at times better than the way you are treated at home.
