Contract Forms for 2017/2018 Decentralized Grants at Below Link & Guidelines For Past Grants Deadlines Still Available for Review

The Arts Council New Orleans is pleased to announce deadlines for its Community Arts Grants (April 20, 2017)  and grants through the Louisiana Decentralized Arts Funding Program (May 17, 2017).

Community Arts Grants Program: Application Deadline April 20, 2017

The Arts Council is pleased to announce the deadline for 2018 Community Arts Grants, April 20, 2017. A priority of this grant program is to help support nonprofit arts organizations with 501(c)(3) status domiciled in Orleans Parish that carry out quality arts programming addressed through New Orleans as Cultural Capital Grants.  New Orleans as Cultural Capital supports general operations in accordance to budget size.  The CAG program also provides specific targeted funding for Grassroots Parading Traditions through the More Joy category.  The More Joy category helps to support New Orleans indigenous cultural groups, for example Mardi Gras Indians and Social Aid and Pleasure Clubs. Community Arts Grants are made possible by the City of New Orleans.

Louisiana Decentralized Arts Funding Program: Application Deadline May 17, 2017

The deadline to submit an application for funding  for 2017/2018 grants through the Louisiana Decentralized Arts Funding Program, made possible by the State of Louisiana through the Louisiana Division of the Arts, is  May 17, 2017.  Applicants domiciled in Orleans, Jefferson or Plaquemines Parishes may submit proposals in the Project Assistance and Operating Support categories.  Activities must take place between October 1, 2017 – September 30, 2018.
