The spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus has undoubtedly interrupted and shifted many lives, including our local artists, creatives, and culture bearers whose livelihoods were dependent on canceled gigs, festivals, and public events. It’s times like these that community matters most and that we must do our best to uplift and support those in need.  As a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve quality of life in New Orleans by supporting and investing in the city’s artists, cultural producers, and creative community, we’ve compiled a list of relief resources for artists and freelancers, as well as opportunities for philanthropists and donors to help artists facing challenges. The list will continue to be updated as we discover more resources to share:

New Orleans Business Alliance – Artist Relief Fund

COVID-19 Freelance Artist Resources

Creative Capital – List of Arts Resources During the COVID-19 Outbreak

National Performance Network – COVID-19/Coronavirus Resources

Americans for the Arts – Research and Response Center

I Care If You Listen – COVID-19 Emergency Funding and Artist Resources

Creative Collective – COVID-19 Resource and Info page

The Greater New Orleans Foundation – Louisiana Service and Hospitality Family Assistance Program

New Orleans Public Schools – Feeding Program

Music and Culture Coalition of New Orleans – Survey on Assessment of Relief Needs

Wbur – Grants and Resources for Artists and Nonprofits
