What is ArtsNewOrleans.org and who produces it?
ArtsNewOrleans.org is a project of the Arts Council of New Orleans, the city’s official arts agency.
Part arts events calendar, artist directory, multimedia publisher and online resource – ArtsNewOrleans.org is a dedicated multidisciplinary arts resource and centralized location for New Orleans arts information online.
Do I need a profile to access this site?
You do not need a profile to access the site. Individual profiles allow you to benefit from enhanced site features including an arts watch list and customized arts calendar. Profiles also allow artists, arts groups, and venues to manage and post new content to the site.
What is ArtSavers?
Part of ArtsNewOrleans weekly enewsletter, ArtSavers are discounts on select arts and cultural products, workshops and other opportunities to support New Orleans cultural economy. This is a free promotional service provided through the Arts Council of New Orleans for New Orleans artists, venues and arts groups. Offers must be arts focused, available within 50 miles of downtown New Orleans and offer a 50% or greater discount off the full item price. All offers are subject to review and approval.
Do you take press releases for local arts events?
We love receiving your news, but receive so many updates that we cannot guarantee press releases will be posted on the site. The best way to ensure accuracy and get your event on our calendar is to use our event submit form to post information directly to the website for our consideration.
What are your event submission guidelines?
ArtsNewOrleans.org is a project of the Arts Council to support the local arts community. The primary focus of the event must be on the arts. The event must take place within 50 miles of downtown New Orleans. Event listed needs to include a sufficient description detailing the arts activity in the submission form and include quality images to be included on ArtsNewOrleans.org.
