The Clay Center of New Orleans seeks applicants for the 2023 installment of “Clay: A Southern Census,” a juried group exhibition of work by artists residing in the U.S. Census Bureau’s “South Region,” which includes AL, AR, DC, DE, FL, GA, KY, LA, MD, MS, NC, OK, SC, TN, TX, VA, and WV. Open to ceramic vessels, sculptures, and wall-mounted works, this exhibition will be on display May 5 – June 9, 2023, in the Clay Center’s gallery in the heart of New Orleans.
