LUNA Studio is a dynamic workshop series presented by Arts New Orleans as part of LUNA Fête, the city’s annual festival of light, art, and technology. Designed to introduce artists to interactive, tech-driven public art, the series offers hands-on learning in digital media, immersive storytelling, and responsive environments.
Led by artist and educator Gabe Barcia-Colombo, each session explores tools like Unity, TouchDesigner, and projection mapping, showing how technology can amplify creative vision and public engagement. Whether you’re new to these tools or looking to expand your skillset, LUNA Studio offers accessible entry points for artists at any stage.
Workshops are open to all, with limited-use MacBooks available upon request. Please indicate in your application if you need access to a laptop.
Join us in shaping the future of public art—through light, technology, and storytelling that transforms our civic spaces.
